Every healthcare project we deliver starts with a full infection control plan agreed with the facilities team before work begins.

Healthcare premises are occupied by patients who may be elderly, immunocompromised or otherwise vulnerable. Construction noise, dust and disruption can cause genuine distress and in some cases health risks. We plan every healthcare project to minimise the impact on patients and residents, phasing works away from occupied areas where possible and scheduling the noisiest elements for times when patient activity is lowest.

Yes. We carry out construction and refurbishment works in occupied healthcare premises across the North East. We phase works carefully to maintain clinical capacity throughout the programme, agree access windows with the clinical team before work begins and schedule the noisiest elements of the works for times when patient activity is lowest. Where works need to be carried out in areas directly adjacent to clinical spaces we use hoarding and dust barriers to protect patients and staff throughout.

Yes. Out of hours working is standard practice for us on healthcare projects where daytime disruption to patients and staff is not acceptable. We work evenings, nights and weekends to fit around clinical operations and we plan out of hours programmes carefully to make sure the right trades, materials and equipment are in place before work begins. All out of hours working is priced transparently as part of your project quotation.
