About MDS NE
MDS NE is a North East based multi-trade construction and plumbing contractor founded by two brothers with a shared background in plumbing, one specialising in domestic work and the other in commercial. What started as a specialist plumbing service has grown into a fully multi-trade contractor delivering construction, M&E, fit-out and home improvement services across the North East and beyond.
Our story
From plumbing specialists to multi-trade contractor
Our roots go back to 2012 when MDS Plumbing was established to deliver outstanding plumbing and heating work to homeowners across Newcastle and the North East. Over time the business grew, adding electrical, construction, fit-out and solar to its offering as clients asked for more and the team expanded to deliver it.
Today MDS NE operates two divisions. Our domestic division, MDS Plumbing, delivers high quality home improvements across Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Northumberland. Our commercial division delivers construction, M&E, fit-out and maintenance contracts for developers, facilities managers and main contractors across the North East and wider England.
